Credit Cards: The Westin Boston Seaport District accepts cash and the following credit/debit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, JCB and Discover. Give your bank a heads up that you will have upcoming card transactions in Boston.
Gratuities: You will be responsible for your own gratuities.
Ground Transportation: Please plan to make your own arrangements for ground transportation to and from the airport. Taxis, Ubers and Lyfts are widely available and easy to book at the airport.
Locked Luggage: The TSA urges travelers not to lock checked luggage. Security officials may perform searches of checked luggage and are authorized to cut the lock if necessary to inspect the bag.
Luggage Policy: Check with your airline for information regarding both carry-on luggage and checked baggage policies before heading to the airport. Most airlines allow one carry-on bag and one personal item at no extra charge. Just make sure they fit into the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. Attendees are responsible for any luggage expenses.
Meals: You are responsible for your own meals. There is no shortage of great dining options available within and around the hotel!
Medication: Make sure you have an adequate supply of prescription medications and carry a medical summary card with you if you have a chronic medical condition. Place essential medications in your carry-on bag and keep medications in their original containers, clearly labeled with the prescription number, date of issuance, your name and your physician’s name.
Name Badge: Please wear your name badge at all group activities. Only those with name badges will be allowed entry to Avon Connect events and activities, and those without name badges will not be allowed entry into any Avon events.
Parking: Self-parking is available at the hotel for registered guests at the rate of $44 per night and valet is $54 per night. At the Boston Convention Center, parking is available on site for $25/per car, paid as the attendee drives in. However, there is no overnight parking and this is a daily rate.

Travel Insurance: You may want to purchase trip insurance to supplement your regular life, accident, medical and personal property insurance. Please be sure to carry your medical insurance identification with you at all times and make a copy of emergency phone numbers.
Travel-Size Toiletries: Travelers may carry on travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit in a quart-size clear plastic zip-top bag. In addition, larger amounts of prescription liquid medications and diabetic glucose treatments must be declared at the checkpoint for additional screening.
